2. Should You Rent or Buy
Should you rent or buy a home?
The flowchart below may be able to help you decide.
Like with most money questions, there's no one, universal answer.
Instead, it depends on your own situation, from the state of your savings to whether you're willing to coordinate getting a leaky faucet fixed.
When going through the chart, keep in mind that your answer is just for now — if the chart says you're better off renting, it certainly doesn't mean you have to rent forever.
In six months, a year, or even a matter of weeks, your situation could change and so could your answer.

4. Visiting Carowinds Theme Park

Ride a Roller Coaster in Two States at Once

Thrill-seekers, buckle up! The amazing roller coasters at Carowinds theme park, located on the border between North and South Carolina near Charlotte, are calling your name. This fun-filled theme park features so many awesome amusement rides, and you’ll want to return again and again.
One of the most popular roller coasters, Thunder Road, is a wooden roller coaster that takes riders from state to state, and it’s the only one in the world to do so! There’s nothing like riding a wooden roller coaster, and the two adjacent tracks on this ride will remind you of the Dragon Challenge at Universal Studios.
Roller coaster lovers will be able to try a huge variety of roller coasters, including a stand-up coaster (Vortex), a face-down roller coaster (Nighthawk), a roller coaster that you ride forward and then backward (Carolina Cobra), and of course, Intimidator, the roller coaster that holds the record for height, speed and length in the Southeast.
This theme park offers some of the most amazing roller coasters in the U.S., and Carowinds does a great job of mixing the atmosphere of a historic theme park with innovative rides that rival favorites from well-known parks.

Tons of Fun in North and South Carolina

If you’re not a huge roller coaster fan, there are still lots of fun things to do at Carowinds. You could enjoy the fun waterpark, Boomerang Bay, which is located inside the park (and included with your admission!). You also won’t want to miss out on great shopping and dining, live shows, and the dinosaur-themed section of the park. We also suggest stopping to take an old-timey photo or buy a funky hat.
Whether you love to explore amusement parks with friends, family or a big group, you should definitely add Carowinds to your list. Plan your next visit to the “Thrill Capital of the Southeast”! You can save on your trip to Carowinds by searching for hotel coupons to use nearby.
